I worked with the London Borough of Brent on the Cultural Olympiad leading up to 2012. The arts team wanted to produce an eco friendly set of workshops from recycled materials to represent the wonder of the olympics and to celebrate and add to every Christmas leading up to the event.
I devised a lantern star that could be easily made from large plastic sheets or milk bottles and added to a set of tree lights.
I worked with a number of schools across Brent to create the stars, as well as libraries. Have a go yourself!
