Working with Methilhill Children's Community Initiative in Fife Scotland, I devised a project to bring animals and environment to the fore for children. Using card mask, recycled cardboard and bits and pieces of fabric and glue, we created animals and beings.
We had a professional photographer Alice Stone Art shoot the photos, maker/writer Calette Duke worked on costume and writing with the children and I then designed the book of the project with all their photos and writing inside for each participant to take home as a keepsake. The learning garden will also have giant vinyl posters of some of our Wildhearts as a longterm outdoor exhibition of the work.
I worked as artist, producer and project manager on this and it was so fulfilling!
