Methil Heritage Centre in Fife wanted to create a residency with workshops to work on the themes from the Miners Strike. I recorded an interview with two union workers from the time to give me a basis to work on. Then over the course of five sessions I worked with a number of young people to create sequential art around the themes. I put together a zine to copy and be given out  during the exhibition, and art and graphics in response to the strike.
I curated part of the exhibition and added a Wish Tree for visitors to add their hopes for the Levenmouth area of Fife. Graphic design work, illustration and making brought the work together beautifully.

Based on the 1983 game Manic Miner, I added British policemen and data

relating to the strike along the bottom as the score.

A fun way to evaluate

A3 or A4 size zine with words from my two men that were at the strike.
